What Sheffield comes to Unit for

American diner classics done properly: every burger made fresh to order with meat from our local butcher, every sauce our own recipe. Every burger comes with our signature fries. Plus baos, loaded fries, wings, waffles, cookie dough, churros, our own WISL Cola and a full vegan range.

Vegan cauliflower wings, the Moving Mountains vegan beef burger and our homemade falafel burger. Veggies, try the halloumi burger.

Most burgers can be served without the bun. Not suitable for coeliacs, as our kitchen handles gluten.

Where street food and street art meet

Mo and Nabz were fed up with Sheffield's food options, so they quit their jobs to make food they crave. Unit opened on Headford Street in 2017 as a home for students, families and local creatives, with walls by local and international graffiti artists. Today there are two Unit diners in Sheffield, and we're still independent.

Our original restaurant, a few minutes' walk from Division Street, West Street and Devonshire Green. Close to the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University, and within walking distance of Bramall Lane for Sheffield United match days. Ideal for a quick lunch in town or late food after a night out.

Near Meadowhall: Valley Centertainment, S9

Our biggest dining room, next to Cineworld and Hollywood Bowl at Valley Centertainment, on the same road as Utilita Arena Sheffield and minutes from Meadowhall and IKEA Sheffield, with free parking. The perfect stop before a Sheffield Steelers game, a gig or a film, and a family-friendly restaurant for Attercliffe, Darnall, Tinsley and Rotherham.

Is Unit Sheffield halal?

Yes. Everything we serve is halal, at both Headford Street and Valley Centertainment.

Where can I get good burgers in Sheffield city centre?

Unit's original diner is at 88 Headford Street, S3 7WB, a short walk from Devonshire Green and Division Street. It's open 11am to 11pm, seven days a week.

What's the best place for food near me in Sheffield?

If you're in or near the city centre, head to Unit on Headford Street (S3), close to Division Street and West Street. If you're near Meadowhall or Sheffield Arena, our Valley Centertainment diner (S9) has free parking. Both serve burgers, wings, loaded fries and shakes, made fresh to order.

Where can I eat near Meadowhall?

Unit Valley Centertainment is a few minutes from Meadowhall, next to the cinema and bowling. It's open 10am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday, with free parking.

Where can I get late-night food in Sheffield?

Unit Headford Street is open until 11pm every day, and Valley Centertainment until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Last orders are 15 minutes before closing.

Can I order takeaway or collection?

Yes. Order online for collection from Headford Street or Valley Centertainment, or get delivery on Uber Eats.

Do I need to book?

No, walk-ins are welcome. We recommend booking a table for groups and Friday or Saturday evenings.

Do you have vegan and vegetarian options?

Yes: vegan cauliflower wings in your choice of flavour, the Moving Mountains vegan beef burger and our homemade falafel burger. Vegetarians can also go for the halloumi burger, halloumi fries or our homemade mac n cheese.

Do you have gluten-free food?

Most burgers can be made without the bun; just ask. We can't guarantee no cross-contamination, so we don't recommend it for coeliacs.

Is there parking?

At Headford Street there's pay and display right outside, free after 8:30pm. Valley Centertainment has free parking.

Do you deliver?

Yes, from both diners via Uber Eats.

Can you take large group bookings in Sheffield?

Yes. We seat big groups together, take pre-orders so the food arrives at once, and sort dietary needs in advance. Valley Centertainment is our biggest dining room. Book a group.

Do you do working lunches and office orders?

Yes, with packages for 5, 10, 20 and 50+ people. With 24 hours' notice, we can deliver large orders up to 4 miles (delivery charges apply beyond 1 mile). See Unit for Business.

Is Unit good for kids and families?

Yes. We have a kids menu, and our Centertainment diner sits right by the cinema and bowling.

15 minutes before closing at every location.
